Avery even got her first medal! We forgot to bring the camera to the race, but here she is back home with her medal.

Race Day
Avery completed her first 5K (3.1 miles) this morning in a little over 37 minutes with the help of Mom and Dad. We did the NWA Tour de Cure for diabetes. The Tour de Cure also includes a 100, 50, and 20 mile bike ride and a half marathon.
Avery even got her first medal! We forgot to bring the camera to the race, but here she is back home with her medal.
She had a great time and is already training for her next race - maybe a half marathon!
