Avery's 2nd Birthday

Avery's 2nd birthday is one we will never forget! We got about 20 inches of snow at our house that day! The weatherman had predicted that we would get between 4-6 inches a few days before so we were prepared for a snow day.

It was fun to have a snow day at home with Daddy! It was still snowing when I took these pictures. I have never seen so much snow other than at a ski resort! It was a new record for the most snow in Northwest Arkansas.

Avery learned a new word today - birthday cake!! I made an emergency run to Harps the night before to buy a cake mix so she would have cake on her birthday.



After cake we opened presents. It was nice for her to have new toys to play with and keep her entertained since we were stuck at home for the next 3 days.





It was way too cold and there was too much snow for Avery to go out and play. She doesn't really like to walk through the snow anyway. After we were able to get out again and there was snow on the sidewalks, she would want to get carried so her shoes wouldn't get dirty.

Time to shovel the driveway after all the snow!
