Our table was right next to where Santa was going to sit so she watched a lot of boys and girls sit in his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Avery decided that she was going to tell Santa that she wanted a bike for Christmas. We put her in Santa's lap and she froze! She wouldn't look at him or me to take a picture. Addison just kept looking at Santa trying to figure out why she was in some strangers lap.
After Santa left, she started crying and saying that she wanted a bike. I think she thought that Santa was going to bring the bike right away. I guess we didn't really explain that part to her, so we spent all afternoon listing to Avery say she wanted a bike from Santa and trying to explain that he comes on Christmas Eve!
