Avery and Addison both started school on Thursday! Avery is a Turtle in the Pre-K class and Addison is a little Bunny in the Pre-K2 class. They were both super excited about starting school.
We went on Wednesday to meet their teachers.
They took off running down the hall to see Addi's room.

Walking in to school on the first day! This was before Addi fell down. She insisted on carrying her backback that was way too heavy for her!
Avery had the best day and said that she really likes her teachers and her friends. Her best friend from last year is in her class again and she gets to see some of her other favorite friends who are in another class on the playground.
Addison had a pretty good day. She was so excited about going to school that she fell down on the way in and skinned up her knee. She was crying a little still when I dropped her off and started crying again when I came to pick her up! She did nap and actually ate a pretty good amount of her lunch. Hopefully she'll have a better day next week.
