We went to Disney World again this year for Avery's birthday, February 1-8! I am going to attempt to post about each day to get caught back up on the blog! We didn't take as many pictures this time and just enjoyed being there and having fun!
We got to the airport extra early on the 1st and noticed that there was a flight to Orlando that was about to depart just a few gates down from where we were. Jason went down there and asked if we could get on. He was calling me a few minutes later telling me to come now with the girls that we could get on!! We walked on the plane, sat down, and were ready for takeoff. It was perfect!
Our only plans for the first day were to meet Anna and Elsa from Frozen. The lines to meet them had been really long so I wanted to get it out of the way. We got on the monorail towards Epcot and were ready to go! We got to use the new Magic Bands for this trip and really liked them. We gave Avery charging power on hers and by the end of the trip she was buying her own things and didn't need help entering the PIN number!
Walking up to Epcot we saw Pluto and no one was in line to meet him! Addi was a little shy at first meeting the characters, but she eventually warmed up. She never cried, but she seemed a little nervous.
Anna and Elsa were in the back of Epcot at Norway. I was expecting a 2 hour line, but it was a little rainy that afternoon we got there and we only waited 45 minutes!
Addi and Dad waiting in line to meet Anna and Elsa.
This was the highlight of the girls trip! They just love Frozen and were so excited to meet Anna and Elsa. Even though their line was long, the princesses spent a lot of time talking to the girls and asking them about Olaf. Avery had on her birthday button so they asked her about that too.
The girls were tired from a busy day of traveling and meeting Anna and Elsa so we ate a quick dinner at Epcot and headed back to the room to rest up for our first full day of fun!
Catch Up!
