White Christmas

Avery was SO excited about Christmas this year.  She ran as fast as she could to get to sleep Christmas Eve before Santa came.  When she woke up the next morning all she could talk about was how she heard Santa's bells outside.  She couldn't wait to open her presents, but we made her wait a few minutes for Addi to wake up.

We read the Christmas Olivia book the entire month of December and all Avery talked about was making a big mess Christmas morning just like Olivia.  I think she did a good job!

As we were getting in the car to go to Granny's to eat lunch, Avery looked over at Addi and said, "I'm sorry baby that Santa didn't bring you a LeapPad, but I got one!"  Addi is okay that she didn't get a LeapPad because she just loves her Cinderella Castle and Minnie Mouse shopping cart!

It started snowing Christmas morning and by the afternoon we had enough snow to go outside and play.  Avery was so excited!  I think she had the best day ever.

Poor Addi had a runny nose and ear infection so she didn't get to go outside and play in the snow.  She had fun watching sister make snow angels and throw snowballs!
